2003- now Trinity is a Dutch worldbeat-band consisting of the three brothers Johan, Elbert en Niek Smelt, and their friend Bert Bos. The brothers Smelt are largely grown in Peru , and his South American influences , along with some Celtic sounds can be heard in their music. Furthermore, their music is characterized by the use of all sorts of world music like African beats. Their songs are in Spanish , English and on their previous albums also in Dutch and contain a significant portion Christian themes .
